Turnover rate is insane

Pros

Great connections, great people...besides upper management.

Cons

Micromanaging & lack of freedom. Everything is a PR stunt, looks great on the outside but fake on the inside. Within 1 year of working at this company, 16 people either got fired or quit. Insane. We were also asked to positively review the company on Glassdoor because the reviews were so bad. I could go on and on. Oh, and did I mention low pay.

Pros

I have nothing but positive things to say about this company and those who work there. Everyone I had the pleasure of interacting with was positive, genuine and helpful. Over my seven months at Evoke, I was given a wide range of tasks that made me feel valuable to the team. It by no means is an easy internship but it is exactly the real world experience one needs to be successful in this industry. If you're looking for a company that allows you to collaborate with an awesome team, a great list of clients and endless learning opportunities, then Evoke is the place for you.

Cons

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this company. But if you're not a fan of a fast-paced environment, this may not be the place for you.

Still in disbelief.

Pros

I met some incredible people at Evoke. The brightest, most brilliant hardworking people in the industry... who all left because they are intelligent enough to know better... and to know when they are being taken advantage of and when a situation feels as wrong as it did at Evoke. The only positive thing I take away from my experience at Evoke was that it taught me how NOT to be treated by management, and how NOT to be respected. I actually learned a lot from a very manipulative woman who runs this company. She taught me that "I should only work with nice people." Well, that's why I left to go work with nice people, so appreciate the life advice.

Cons

I don't even want to get into the details of my time at Evoke. Some days were fine, and other days you felt defeated, stressed and disheartened by being treated like a child. I've told stories of my time at Evoke to others, who shake their head in disbelief that there is actually a company like this that exists (yes, I am 100% serious. We even laugh about it now because it’s so ridiculous that it’s funny). It makes me very sad to read positive reviews on here that are so clearly planted and even more so the responses from Kelly herself (which, I hope you can see through those as clearly as I can). Bad reviews are no new news to Evoke - there has been so much turnover, that alone should speak volume for the experiences at this company.
