Pros

If you're at the top, you'll probably make a bunch of money.

Cons

The culture is just terrible. Bad attitudes, lack of respect, non-responsive, brutal and sometimes misguided execution. Their business strategy probably does work most of the time to successfully squeeze every dollar out of the bottom line, but I can't imagine why any typical employee would want to be part of it. I hope potential candidates take these reviews seriously and know what they're getting themselves into.

Pros

Idera has very good benefits and contributes a great deal towards them. Excellent plans to choose from. Remote work was great for work-life balance.

Cons

If you are coming to Glassdoor because the company you work for was just acquired by Idera....start looking for a new job! If you are here looking for a job, scroll on by. Idera is not a company for career growth or longevity. Idera merely wants to gobble up businesses for the software and nothing else. They DO NOT care about the employees they are taking on, in any way. They will string everyone along until they've had enough and quit (less cost to them). There are few managers who are caring and compassionate but this is not the norm. They pay well under the average for positions.

* Very effective at sucking the life from perfectly healthy software companies.

Cons

* My cat could run an acquisition better and she literally buries her poop and sleeps all day. * They are the Shang Tsung of software companies (Your soul is mine!)
