Pros

None that I'm aware of. I would not intentionally seek employment at Idera given how they treat their employees. I have nothing positive to say.

Cons

All about the cost, no concern for people. The CEO throws lavish parties at his mansion complete with aging rock stars while laying people off during the holidays and cutting vacation pay for those remaining.

Pros

NO real pros to share.

Cons

WE were just acquired by IDERA, formally Embarcadero Technologies - and we have all been laid off with NO offers to relocate to their Texas locations. Don't really care about people, just the bottom line to position yet another sale for the 1% in the company to make $$$...so sad!

Pros

Fun co-workers, great potential to make large commissions, excellent insurance benefits, really fun company quarterly events. Finally implemented adequate training. CEO loves to have a blast. He's very cool!

Cons

It's a major grind. Metrics are watched like a hawk. They can either help you or hurt you. In a lot of ways they set you up to fluff them to avoid reprimand. There's one leader you'll find quickly, who enjoys messing with people's heads. They will tell you to do one thing, you do it, they tell you its wrong and when you say you told them to do it they will deny it. They will even deny they approved discount approvals. Get everything bit of instruction or approvals in an email! If you do something you're told and it flops, you'll get thrown under the bus.
