Pros
1. The co-founders are still leading the company, and they embody the company values personally. They have a lot of influence over the culture and direction of the company without too much middle management to dilute their personal influence. 2. The company still has the startup spirit, which allows you to work without too much politics and red tape. 3. There is a good work-life balance. 4. There is no micromanagement (at least in Product), and people generally feel valued throughout the company, from what I can see. 5. There is a lot of room for the company to grow and for the employees to potentially grow with it. 6. Not sure how else to explain this, other than the fact that the company has a soul. There are a lot of soulless companies out there, which are uninspiring to work for, and this company isn't one of them.
Cons
This isn't really a con, but the company is growing quite rapidly, and rapid growth can change the culture, so I hope we are cautious about who we hire to ensure we maintain what makes PI unique.
