Illuminate is an amazing place to work. The company is made up of crazy smart people and we are all working together to shape the company. You are constantly challenged and your potential for growth is unlimited. Every single employee is a valued member of the team. Working for Illuminate is like having a second family.

Cons

The company is a flat organization. This means that everyone is part of the team and we are accountable to one another instead of a single manager. Sometimes this means that things take longer because everyone's opinion and ideas are considered. However, this is always one of the amazing qualities of the company. Your voice counts and it's heard.

Pros

You are valued as an employee. Your opinions and input are sought-after and respected. The company pays 100% of medical and dental premiums, life insurance, and long-term disability insurance, plus 2 bonuses a year. These benefits are amazing for individuals and working families. It is great to work for a company that is seeking to make a difference in the world. This makes coming to work all the better...very fulfilling. The icing on the cake is our unique company culture.

Cons

Since implementing a flat organization structure, we have had some bumps in the road such as communication issues within teams and between teams.
