Pros

I want to provide a useful, comprehensive review of the company for potential applicants to gain a better and clearer understanding of the work environment in advance, so in that pursuit I have determined the best solution to be breaking down the work experience into several categories and first discussing them individually before providing any overarching insight. OFFICE ENVIRONMENT + WORKPLACE CULTURE The office environment here at ImageSource is very quiet, relaxed, and laid-back. That’s not to say there isn’t a certain level of professionalism maintained at all times, but it’s not stuffy or overbearing. Which I believe is partially the reason why the workplace culture is very respectful and egalitarian. Although there is a clear hierarchy in place, it doesn’t stifle good ideas from below or lead to power being abused in any way that would create a toxic culture of fear and obedience. PAY + BENEFITS My current pay is excellent, although my starting salary was slightly less than I had been hoping for when I went into the interview to discuss the position. The benefits, though, more than made up for this at first as they’re quite comprehensive and extremely affordable. COWORKERS My coworkers are my favorite part of this job (and I actually like working here very much, so that’s a very high compliment indeed). I work alongside a group of talented, creative, passionate people who not only inspire me but motivate me to improve in my skills and knowledge base and give that much more to my work every single day. MANAGEMENT As I touched upon previously in the “Office Environment + Workplace Culture” section of my review, management prefers not to run things through fear or by demanding respect and exerting unnecessary control. Instead, they inspire us and lead by example. I can honestly say I haven’t worked under a single manager here at ImageSource who wasn’t willing to roll their sleeves up and get to work right alongside us when a tighter turnaround was needed or a deadline needed to be changed at the last minute. THE DAY-TO-DAY The day-to-day is very unglamorous (which I imagine is to be expected by anyone looking to work in this field), but that doesn’t mean it’s boring or monotonous. Each day presents new challenges and I’ve come to find in my time with the company that people who do best under either extreme in the workplace (either no change at all or every day is vastly different than the day before) aren’t a good fit. LONG-TERM EXPERIENCE + GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES In my experience, the company only gets better the longer you work here. Every year since I started has improved my opinion of this company and the people who run it (not worsened it) and I’ve been consistently presented with opportunities to take on more responsibility and grow in my career. OVERALL Considering every aspect of the working experience here at ImageSource I feel comfortable giving them all 5 stars for this review, as although it isn’t perfect and there are several areas in need of improvement, as a whole it is an excellent company that treats employees with respect and consideration.

Cons

Rather than simply reiterate what I mentioned in the previous section, I would merely say to review what I’ve already written as I gave a full and honest report of the company there, including any perceived “cons”.

Pros

One of the biggest pros at ImageSource is the atmosphere and culture. Every member of the ImageSource family is committed to producing an enjoyable and engaging solution, product, or experience for every customer. Once onboarded, you become a crucial part of a strong band of creative, respectful, and bustling minds. Ideas are endless and so are the possibilities. Your opinions and ideas matter - you are heard! Every team member wants to see you succeed and personal/professional growth is highly encouraged and facilitated. The comradery is impossible to beat. It's indescribable how intoxicating it is to wake up every morning wanting to go to work because collaborating on a life-changing product with your co-workers is such a blast. I could ramble about the unbeatable qualities of ImageSource for days, but instead I'll leave you with some additional pros: + Outstanding benefits. + Opportunity to advance. + Flexibility. + Creative bonuses. + Potential travel. + Company retreats. + Stability. + Ongoing education. + Open communication all the way up to C-level. + and so many more.

Cons

I have no gripes; It's simple to discuss and find solutions for hardships or frustrations with upper management.
