Pros

Imperva has been a great place to work. I really feel like everyone here works together to common goal. And as the company has grown, I've been able to grow my own career as well as those of my team along with it.

Cons

We work hard. For me this is a positive, I can always expect a counterpart to do what they need to do. I guess it's not for everyone though. (At the same time for me and my team, at least, the company acknowledges this and allows for flexibility on work hours, etc. when it's possible).

Pros

Professional people which are leaders in their domain and offer true mentorship. Great atmosphere. Great location (center of Tel Aviv). Great benefits. The company went public on Nov. 2011. Welcomes position changes and offers possible relocation positions.

The company went public on Nov. 2011 (not a start-up anymore, for the good and bad of it).

Pros

The work is generally interesting, the company is stable, the HR department insists on bringing in only nice people, there are several corporate fun activities per year.

Cons

The technologies used in R&D tend to be somewhat outdated. It is very hard to get a promotion, sometimes the management prefers to bring in new managers from outside rather than promote people from inside. There is a poor discussion culture, people tend to pay attention to the most assertive and loud speaker and ignore speakers who refuse to force their opinion in. Some people benefited from the IPO, but other than that there are no bonuses for hard working employees.
