Pros

Some really talented people who are mission driven and want to improve healthcare. Unfortunately, they don't have any power.

Cons

Things are so crazy from the recent mergers. What gets prioritized vs cut really reflects the moral compass of leadership. It's not positive. We extend ourselves above and beyond because we care about members. Unfortunately, beyond lip service, no one is supporting the service staff. (investing in better IT). We get blamed for everything while getting no support. This is not a great place to work if you're not white / white-adjacent. Folks don't seem to see how much tunnel vision they have. The CEO sends & other execs send out SUNDAY NIGHT (!?) notes every week. Just like.. shower thoughts? Again, a whole lot of self-centered lip service from privileged people. Not a lot of looking out into diverse communities to understand our problems and why people avoid healthcare.
