Friendly and supportive coworkers who are always willing to help Clear structure and well-defined workflow makes learning easier Opportunity to understand medical terminology and patient data systems Flexible scheduling options, especially for students Stable and reputable healthcare organisation with good work cultur

Cons

Work can become repetitive after a while Limited opportunities for advancement within data entry roles Some systems are outdated and slow during peak hours Occasional workload spikes due to patient data backlog Pay could be slightly higher for the level of accuracy required

Pros

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Teamwork was good on most floors. Float pool pay was really good. Also, for its size 230ish beds) there are a surprising amount of CNSs on the floors

Cons

In general it’s not a bad place overall, just a little backwards in how nursing staff are treated by management and ancillary departments. *Anything* can and will be delegated to nursing at any time by anyone.

Pros

Good work culture, most employees are happy to be there. Everyone is friendly and work well together. Pay is good, and PTO earn rate is fair.

Cons

Things are great with the right manager. One drawback is that you have to use your PTO for holidays, you should have the choice if you want to save your PTO for other time and just take a no-pay day when your office is closed for a holiday.
