A wonderful place to work

Pros

There are not enough words to express how great this place is, though I was just a temporary student worker, I was given practically innumerable opportunities for personal, professional, and external growth

Cons

The only downside was that I could not turn my position into a full time job so I could stay there longer

Tight work schedules but have opportunity to telework.

Worst year of my life

Pros

Benefits were great. Medical, dental vision and retirement were the only reasons I could get out of bed and force myself to go to work each day. I met a few kind, hard working individuals along the way but benefits were the reason I held on as long as I did.

Cons

My boss was incompetent and mentally abusive. Many of her peers recognized she was bad news but she remained employed to run amock. The culture is one that tolerates allowing faculty to mistreat staff and I wanted no parts of that.
