Pros

You can got $8.95 employee meal after every shift no matter how long is the shift. Manager is very friendly and keeps encouraging you.

Cons

You have to keep working even the cafe is pretty slow. The only thing you can do is keep cleaning and cleaning. Sometimes you cleaned one table more than 10 times.

Pros

I worked as a language TA. It was good for accumulation of teaching experience, although the workload can easily exceed 20 hours per week.

Cons

I thought the tuition exemption for TA applied to all courses, but actually it was strictly within the school you attend. For example, if you are from School of Science and Humanities, tuition exemption doesn't apply to courses offered by School of Education, at least it was this way by May 2014.

Cons

Bad weather, departments are very separated from each other at the graduate level.
