      Good work/life balance Very generous amount of vacation Benefits are better than average Fairly secure Lots of great coworkers

      Cons

      Career path limited for most jobs Laughably small raises (if you get one at all) As a staff member, it's made clear that you are a second-class citizen No incentive to better yourself as an employee

      Pros

      Excellent workplace environment; faculty are easy to work with and accommodating. Demanding work environment.

      Cons

      Low pay, little to no benefits. When working with faculty, you can often feel second-class.

      There's opportunities to work with a lot of great people here.

      Cons

      Don't expect to get paid market value for your role. Not being able to have a voice in projects or changes burned me out pretty fast. The office politics aren't just a rumor - tenured employees will always get the benefit of the doubt.
