Pros

Nice work environment. Very friendly people. Flexible timing. Upper management cares about their employees even though telemarketing is very tough business to make money in. This company was more like a family to me. I spent little over 5 years there due to some of the awesome people I had chance to work with. All upper management in technology is really awesome and caring. My team leader Nate Mugford was probably the best boss I have ever worked under.

Cons

Salary is bit less compared to market average.

Pros

Your exerience at this company depends largely on the client you work for, as they set rules for the management. The management itself is decent and adaptable. They are very patient and provide feedback for your work. It is very hard to get fired. You do get paid every week, and there are bonuses available.

Cons

The first client that I worked for, SBA, was awful. There was no organization, and they prepared us with nothing with a script to answer customers. Outside of that, we did not have answers or the ability to help customers. Even the management did not have relevant information because the client did not provide it. As a result, I found myself dealing with irate customers and the job was highly stressful. The second client I worked for, Cox, was a significant improvement. We did have the programs to help clients. They were working on software while I worked there, so we would often have bugs. Additionally, there was not enough supervisor help available, so we would have long wait times. At the same time, we would have strict call goals as well as very strict variance goals. I thought these goals were unreasonable considering the technical problems that we faced.
