Great if you're one of the chosen few

Pros

Worked with some incredible people throughout my time there, offices are nice, regular perks such as lunch on a Friday and an in-house barista.

Cons

Management are cold and more focussed on making themselves look good to actually mentor and allow you to learn. A simple mistake will be blown up and you'll be belittled and shouted at in front of your peers, however if you do something great barely a whisper and your manager will be getting a shout out in the next CEO meeting for their great work and contributions for your work. Toxic masculinity runs deep within the exec team, my advice to any woman who wants to succeed - avoid this company.

Not a great place

Pros

Opportunities to work with modern technologies and contribute to meaningful projects. Some team members are collaborative and supportive, and there are chances to learn from experienced colleagues.

Cons

Heavy micro-management culture where small details are controlled rather than trusting developers to deliver. Suggestions and technical solutions are often ignored or dismissed, even when they are valid or later adopted when suggested by someone else. Decision-making can feel inconsistent and unclear, leaving employees uncertain about expectations or priorities. Contributions are not always recognised, while mistakes are highlighted quickly. Communication from leadership can be one-sided, with little openness to feedback or alternative approaches.

Pros

The hybrid working arrangement offered some flexibility, which was helpful at times.

Cons

The culture often feels toxic and performative. Issues such as harassment or inappropriate behaviour are not handled well, if addressed at all. HR and management seem more focused on appearances than on genuinely supporting staff. Despite public messaging about diversity and inclusion, the environment does not feel safe, particularly for women.
