      All talk and no action. Work culture going downhill

      Pros

      Most of the pros, if at all, were in the pro-acqusition days. You get freedom to learn if time permits. Fellow workers are quite knowledgeable and fun to work with. Free lunch and cab services to-and-from office. Great office space and allowed to use facilities even outside work hours. Conveniently (for bachelors), the India (Trivandrum) facility also provides washing machine and dryer for use.

      Cons

      The management (particularly India - Trivandrum)! They have an extreme lack of management skills and tend to make the poorest management decisions. They do not particularly help career growth and you are replaceable simply because the focus is into making the facility the most profitable so that work from the base (US) is shifted to locations in Bangalore and Trivandrum. Also most promotion decisions are pre-decided and given to those who do not raise an opinion or question decisions - safe to call them "Yes Men". Ever since the Vista acquisition, the message from the management was clear - numbers were all that mattered - quantity was more important than quality at any cost.

      Pros

      - Coercive, insulting and intimidating executives and managers are now on board. They'll definitely bring more profit for stock holders. - People are leaving. More than 15% for the last 6 months. Wider work space is assured. - Executives started taking First or Business class. Not frugal as other IT ventures in Silicon Valley. Good working environment. - New CEO driving Audi R8 brings us dream that we can eventually drive such a nice car.

      Cons

      - Unless you are a slave or a soldier, it'd be tough to work. Don't be creative.
