Everyone wants to help and frequently takes on stretch assignments Great product with very loyal customers High growth rate and technology adoption Not afraid to make big decisions for long-term success & customer value

Cons

People stretching beyond their areas of knowledge can lead to create solutions that may not be industry best practice A LOT of task tracking without clear value tracking

Thank you for the thoughtful review and for highlighting both the momentum and the risks that can come with it. You point to a supportive culture, loyal customers, and decisive choices, and you also surface concerns when people stretch beyond their expertise and when task tracking overshadows value. We aim for a learning culture where people can talk about mistakes without blame and translate them into better decisions. If you can share specific examples (deliverables that needed SME review, metrics that would have captured value more directly, or moments where a public learning would have helped) please pass them to your manager or through our feedback channels so we can learn from them.

Pros

The workplace culture is genuinely supportive, collaborative, and motivating. Teams are open, approachable, and inclusive, making it easy for new joiners to settle in quickly. Strong mentorship programs for newcomers—there’s always someone willing to guide you, answer questions, and help you navigate both technical and organizational aspects. Clear opportunities for professional growth, with exposure to meaningful projects and cross-functional collaboration. It’s a great environment to learn and advance your career. Leadership is approachable and values new ideas, which creates space for innovation and creativity.

Cons

Project scope for new/RnD based projects can change pretty quickly and sometimes confuse a fresh grad.

Pros

Career Growth & Mobility: I've held multiple roles over 8+ years, and the company consistently supports internal movement and professional development. Exceptional Leadership: Leadership has evolved over time, but the current team is full of rockstars—visionary, grounded, and responsive. Amazing People & Culture: The culture is collaborative and inclusive. Even when challenges arise, coworkers are respectful and easy to work with. Cutting-Edge Technology: Engineering teams work with modern tools and frameworks, always pushing for innovation and best practices. Strong Business Fundamentals: Infoblox is highly profitable and has proven resilient through economic disruptions like the pandemic and global tariffs. Competitive Compensation: Pay is strong and market-aligned. While equity isn't part of the package, overall compensation is generous. Thoughtful Hiring & Stability: Leadership has been prudent with headcount, avoiding the mass layoffs seen across the tech industry. Balanced WFH/RTO Policy: The company has taken a fair and flexible approach to remote work, balancing business needs with employee well-being.

Cons

Equity Absence: Lack of stock options or RSUs is a noticeable gap compared to other tech companies. Process Thrash in Engineering: Some engineering leaders get too deep into execution, which can lead to unnecessary process churn and distract from strategic priorities. Timezone Challenges: With globally distributed teams, scheduling across PST and IST can be tough and occasionally slows down collaboration.
