Pros

Free food, washing machine, ice cream, improve your experience on the tech level..

Cons

Huuuuuge lack of proper management. Looks like this company is ideal for the management people who have got the position and sitting there collecting paychecks. I don't understand the headquarters in the US why they lost control of the Indian team but it's getting worse and worse. Please hire a more efficient audit team to get rid of the rotten management (they have taken advantage of the position they occupy) in India and hire proper people otherwise you will lose prestige on the market.

Pros

- Unlimited time off - Lots of free snacks and food lying around - Opportunities to change roles from mass turnover

Cons

- Company was acquired and there's no more stock. Bonuses used to be paid out every quarter - Toxic company culture and poor morale in the Santa Clara office with depressed people gossiping about who will leave next - Jobs being moved to Tacoma and Bangalore to cut costs - Brain drain and upper management has left. The quality of work has gotten worse compared to a couple of years ago - Extremely political atmosphere. Who you know matters more than what you know - Management continuously sets unrealistic deadlines on projects and burns out employees. No gratitude is shown except for free food. Guess what? Free food isn't culture - Broken promises and refusal by management to be transparent - Decisions made based on short term financial impact - Stay away from the cesspit that is the Santa Clara office. Tacoma might be better for now, but why on earth would you want to work for a company that has proven to be dishonest time and time again?

Pros

Amazing culture - the morale couldn't be higher. The people are all very friendly, and the no-jerks policy is a reality. The products and technologies are relevant, and compelling. The company is self-aware, and is taking proactive steps to transform itself into a modern tech company that has a presence in the cloud. Lots of growth, and opportunity. If you're ambitious, there's plenty of avenues for you to progress in your career. The executive staff is really approachable - I literally had a beer, and a chat with the CEO on my first day! The business trajectory for Infoblox looks great, plenty of growth and new market opportunities.

Cons

The recent acquisition by Vista, and transformation of the company has had a morale and business impact in some areas of the company. (Though it's mostly positive for Infoblox, some sites bore a bigger impact and are still recovering in terms of morale) The future of the company after the Vista exit is unclear, which can lead to some FUD. Engineering could use some more project managers and Agile experts to help facilitate better planning and execution. Long Term incentives like vesting Stock don't exist, and the 401k match program is kind of light. Though, efforts are being made to address this. (This missing benefit is likely creating some increase in attrition)
