Post-Merger Nightmare

Pros

Most supervisors are nice, work from home, somewhat flexible on schedule, 401k

Cons

No opportunities for growth, systems stay down a lot, unrealistic production standards, you have one month to start meeting production or you are punished, they give you "report cards" based on your performance, little chance to learn, you are not rewarded for going above and beyond in quality and only rewarded for the amount of work you do. Mandatory overtime sometimes, voluntary time off other times. There is no consistency. Pay is ridiculously low. The company was decent before the merger. Now it is not a place I'd recommend to anyone.

Pros

Fully Remote - no commute Flexible schedule

Cons

Started with WSS and stayed through the merge to InformData. Training is different from when I was first trained, but it can be vague and not fully prepare you for live work. Once you become fully trained/cleared, you are heavily relied upon and end up doing a lot of the work others do not want to do, while others pick and choose. This is due to lack of organization in many areas. Communication is almost nonexistent, not just through individual teams but the company as a whole. Received a raise after a year but it was a couple of cents added to my already small hourly salary. They do have quarterly bonuses. The downside to these is you have to go far above and beyond to obtain them. It appears there is little to no advancement in the company from this role, so I do not recommend this to someone looking for a career path. In regards to supervision, it heavily depends on luck and who you are assigned to. Beware some supervisors are very condescending with an almost god complex, while others are kind and genuinely want to help you succeed. Yes there is flexibility with schedule and working from home but it is a desktop set up, not a laptop so it is not fully flexible. Beware the "busy" times of year, as they are not afraid to impose mandatory overtime of upwards of 16 hours a week. Yes it's paid but if you're like me and actually want a weekend, 10 hour days are grueling. Even then you might be doing hours on the weekend. If you have high levels of persistence like me, then go for it but with caution and low expectations.

Pros

Remote work where if you get your work done you're left to yourself.

Cons

They pay the least possible and will "forget" about raises and reviews. They (corperate) talk about what to do about things like cost of living or changes going forward but never actually deliver on answers or solutions.
