The best reasons to work at Informatica are great colleagues to work with, a team-minded approach to challenges, open door policy to discuss topics and share ideas, and an awesome #1 platform with an amazing solution set to help our customers solve their big data challenges. Also, I have seen at least 4 BDMs get promoted from their roles into other roles within the company. This place is truly a launching pad for your career and you can make your dreams come true with the right skill set, performance, and attitude!

Cons

There is constant change within the org - whether it be adding new solution sets or switching teams. This isn't really a "con", but you have to become very flexible and learn to adapt to change well. Having a "Get the job done/One Team" mentality, being good at problem-solving and maintaining a positive attitude will help you as changes take place to grow with the needs of the business.

Pros

There are many pros to the position. Flexibility being one. The ability to work from home on some days. Unlimited FTO (flex time off) No micro-managing. The environment and office space is awesome. Big kitchens with snacks and drinks are a plus. Coworkers are professional and a good group of people.

Cons

None that I can think of based on my experiences.

Pros

Informatica is the leader in Enterprise Cloud Data Management. Great on-boarding training with several interactive sessions, amazing collaboration with teams and coworkers and great support from management. Fantastic new office, its' just a stone's trow away from downtown. There are also opportunities to progress career at some stage.
