      Great company with nice people at exciting times

      Pros

      Today is the era of data. To be working for a cloud data software company is a big opportunity. Informatica is growing fast and there are and will be many opportunities for future career progression. The Dublin office is getting a premium location and upscale very soon in Docklands/Grand Canal era which shows the commitment and investment ongoing in Ireland. Exciting times ahead! Can only recommend to be part of it if you can.

      Cons

      I haven’t really came across any major cons or negatives yet. I guess it is crucial not to fall into the mistakes which might come with big growth.

      Don't work here as a Business Development Manager

      Pros

      Great overall atmosphere Good salary and benefits Great products Focus on work-life balance Company is growing well Lots of nice colleagues

      Cons

      Focus to push the whole U.K. team forward (promotions, benefits, privileges) but not much is done for Business Development Managers in other territories. Management is overall nice but doesn't see/care that there is unequal treatment. Big gap between actual generated revenue for the company in the U.K territory and bad quality pipeline that is being generated and rewarded in Dublin. Unclear if you will ever going to progress with a BDM role in Dublin so if you are just looking for ways to earn your money doing the same thing constantly this is your place. Every single BDM in that team is still in the same position regardless of years passing, no one progressed into a different role. Just to give a different perspective to what HR is communicating here

      We are glad that you enjoyed the atmosphere, your colleagues, our rewards and products, and the work/life balance. We regret that you were frustrated by the career development opportunities here. There are several examples of BDMs from the Dublin office being promoted recently to opportunities with inside and field sales. Some of these allowed people from other European countries to repatriate to their homelands in their new positions. We are also adding opportunities in Customer Success, which has an affinity to Business Development. Overall, our Dublin office is projected to grow significantly in the next few years, so there will be more opportunities to advance there. Which may explain why our employees in Dublin rate Informatica 4.1 overall on Glassdoor, and rate our management a 4.1 as well. We wish you well in your future endeavours.

      Good Company but has many faults too.

      Great products, nice central office.Competitive SalaryNice people including management but they have cons.

      Cons

      No career plans for Business Developers you will be stuck in the role here. The only choice is to leave.Management show extreme favouritism towards native English speakers when comes to promotion and perks etc while the teams are multilingual and multicultural.

      We regret that you had a negative experience of Informatica while you were here. Our Dublin team rates us very highly, however. They give Informatica a 4.8 overall Glassdoor rating on a scale of 5, Career Opportunities get a 4.2, and every other measure is above 4.5. There are many examples where our Business Development Managers have progressed to inside and field sales. For those for whom English is their second language, they usually rotate back to their native countries as they advance. Our Dublin office is expanding significantly as well, and new roles for customer success management afford our BDMs yet another path for accomplishment. We wish you success in your future career endeavours.
