Pros

It's a job. I have to write a minimum of 20 words. The sad part is that they can't care less about this review.

Cons

The most unprofessional and toxic environment you could land your feet in and stay alive. This company exploits every single loophole in the immigration system and with that an army of desperate immigrants. A shameful place to work if you understand how they make their money. Really sad.

Pros

Depending on at what location you work for Infosys, you'd find the pros as: - reasonably good pay, - reasonably intelligent coworkers, - better than average future career prospects, and - better than average work-life balance for this industry (tech consulting)

Cons

There is only one con - and that's the catch. No matter where you are, majority of your coworkers will always be based offshore (India or China or Mexico or Brazil), and will almost always be a mixed bag of largely freshers, who will have no clue of the technology they are working on, and chances are on any given day you'd spend more time teaching them the technology and solution than you would spend with your clients. Sadly, the company invests very skimpily on its in-house talent development, and believes that somehow if you let people do a job long enough, they will learn to do it good. This innate belief in experience-based learning is, in my opinion, what's holding the company from becoming a real consultancy provider.
