Pros

So as a software engineer there's a ton of technologies and platforms that you can get exposure to, depending on the team your on. As a control development shop, Infragistics pretty much needs to stay ahead of the curve with changes to the software landscape. The environment is casual and it's not uncommon to bump into the CEO sitting and having lunch in the cafe talking about video games.

Cons

Tying into the above comment, the work load is none stop, and requirements can be thin at best. There's a lot of big brains and smart people and some times it's really hard to be heard or make an impact. Teams are being consolidated and are definitely laking headcount to get done what needs to get done. Cross-functional teams are great... up until a point. Year over year raises tend to be on the low side.

Pros

The new office is nice as well as the location if you live in the central Jersey area

Cons

It's quite the rat race. If you have been there for more than 5 years and are an underperformer, you are basically "tenured" in. The company misleads its employees about company direction and well being to keep them from leaving. Management has no direction. They are constantly wanting to jump on the bandwagon of the next big thing when it's too late. There's no innovative thinking to be or create the next big thing. Compensation has always been an issue. Raises are mostly not given until they think you will leave. Current upper management is mostly not competent. Just not headed in the right direction.

Pros

Good perks and decent salary. If you want to learn about basics of UI components it's a good company.

Cons

Too many to mention in a review but mainly dishonest upper management, managers are not well organized. The managers workload is not substantial enough but they still are clueless about timelines and direction for the products. They mainly like to cut, copy paste ideas from other products like microsoft and other competitors. Not a great place if you are looking to propose new ideas.
