Pros

Areas of the company have really nice people . If you work for a great manager you can be treated fairly and given opportunity.

Cons

They downsize every 12 months and the direction of the company changes - people are so overwhelmed and overworked. They are owned by a Chinese company that has so much debt that financial institutions are scared off. Highly political, corporate office is disengaged. They pay hardly over minimum wage for many of their entry level sales and warehouse roles.

Pros

The people are hard working, loyal and dedicated. Many people have been with the company over 10 plus years

Cons

Management has really gone downhill along with the company since being bought out. They do not want people that have been working there a long time and that make a lot of money to stay so they will find ways to get you out so they can hire someone for half the pay. They are unwilling to work with people in regards to part time or job sharing and in turn they have lost many talented workers. They need to get current not only with their equipment with retaining workers I.e. flexibility/working remotely and needs to work on low morale.

Pros

There are no pros for working at Ingram Micro. Only way you'll do well is if you're part of the sorority-esque clique.

Cons

Where to start? 1. Management (at every level) is completely unqualified to fill a management role. Either they have no education, no formal training, or have no idea about the business. Worst case scenario, they are all of the above. 2. No respect for employees. If you don't fit in with the right clique, your life will be miserable. And fitting in has absolutely nothing to do with the job you do and your qualifications. 3. You will be told to fake contracts just to bring in the revenue. If you say no, you're not a team player. Advice - don't ever fake contracts.
