I wouldn't know where to start. First of all, managers are authoritarian and arrogant control freaks, you will have the feeling of being back in elementary school where you had homework to do every day and report back to the teachers. They are always there to control everything you do without any margin for your autonomy and/or initiative. I was contracted to work as a credit analyst but I have never worked in this role and already here we are talking about a flawed employment contract because you absolutely cannot contract me with a role and then have me support other colleagues who had the same role as me preparation and professional level (in some cases even lower, since I have a master's degree, I spoke more languages and had more work experience). Work colleagues are repressed because of the manager's manners and therefore have adapted to do what they are commanded like little robots, without saying a word. The absurd thing is that we worked remotely 90 percent of the time (even if by regulation they should have gone to the office twice a week but we only went when the bosses wanted!) and during the remote work, practically all they ignored me, even colleagues who put themselves in DO NOT DISTURB and who were theoretically assigned to your "training". On my first day of employment a colleague video calls me (none of the managers had really explained to me what I was going to do in the company and I expected them to give me initial general training in credit analysis which was what I was hired for!). This smug person out of nowhere calls me in the first hour of the morning and in 20 minutes shows me excel steps and formulas to copy and paste and by myself I understand that it is a debt collection business, which no one tells me about he had spoken.Soon after I contacted my direct manager telling him that a colleague had contacted me showing me debt collection operations and I was really confused. He acted as if nothing had happened, throughout my experience they left me to my fate, supporting colleagues because basically it was Christmas time and people had one or two weeks of vacation and they didn't have anyone to back them up up. They disguise everything by telling me that my country was not yet available and that this would serve me as an initial training (and I didn't understand what it would have been for since I had already done collection activities in the past and had a very strong experience in this and if I had accepted that experience it was only for the promise of working as a credit analyst for my country and really it was only an illusion. They literally used me and, as if that weren't enough, they treated me really badly. The nice thing is that when we went to the office, the tension of that team was cut with a knife but they act as if it were a dream team. Basically they force you to eat with them so you don't have autonomy even in this, you have to go yes or yes to eat with the your managers so they can check and know more about you, they are really intrusive people and disrespectful of your private life.Colleagues not at all collaborative but super competitive, I was there doing them the favor of covering them for the holidays and above all a colleague reproached me during a meeting that she had supported me all the time. When it was useful to her, not me, if she wanted someone to replace her during the two weeks off!!! Not appreciative people at all, they don't appreciate anything you do and she hadn't even given me a way to support her in the best way considering that when I explain the steps and excel formulas that document was a mess and those two weeks it was truly almost impossible to work with! In the meantime she, who had been assigned to another country, was trained by another colleague who taught him how Excel should really be set up and how it should really work for a better organization of tasks. Obviously she didn't tell me at all that there was a model to refer to and when I come back from her holidays with her usual smug and arrogant air she demanded the updated and beautifully organized document when she had left me a mess. he gave me orders like "give me this document by twelve!" despite being a person not only on the same level as me, but if we want to be honest he had zero experience compared to me! I won't tell you afterwards, because the other colleague had to go on vacation and he too had all his personal way of working on Excel to which I said enough. The managers call us asking what the "problems" were! Seriously? You put me doing things that are not agreed out of nowhere, you put me in support as if I were a junior I adapt I do what you ask in the hope that sooner or later they will assign me my country it is too much to ask that if I have to support various countries at least yes can they standardize the processes?!!! In response the manager tells me well if you don't send dunning letters it can't be an excuse! Excuse me? How do you work on a document that is a disaster with formulas, which basically didn't make you understand which customers to call day by day?? I was just trying to make THEIR JOB MORE EFFICIENT and instead nothing was clear that their concern was ONLY to cover their holidays. For me it is a project that will end within a few months and everything will be relocated.
