Pros

20 words are required here, but can literally not find a single positive word to say about my experience in the Cloud Service Business Unit

Cons

- Toxic work environment - Senior Management and HR tolerate/enable bullying and harassment from managers - Woeful middle management, more concerned with their own personal advancement

Pros

Benefits are decent. Gain valuable insights into the IT world. Hard work prepares you for the future.

Cons

I've been in the business for 15 years and never encountered such a corrupt goup of people and environment. "It's the people "is the most hypocritical slogan out there. It's about who you know and how much you're willing to brown nose to get "accepted". There are those that can get away with pretending to work while others work like donkeys and still get beat up. Don't be too talented or the "group management team" will quickly find a way to get you from your cube to HR; end result? Fired or laid-off. Vendors also get the short end of the stick. Are frequently asked to invest ridiculous amounts of money into "programs" that no one ever sees through and that don't produce true ROI. Politics here are dirtier than Washington.

Pros

Not much, set schedule if you're lucky enough to work in the right department. If you love politics this is a pro of working at Ingram Micro

Cons

Restructure every couple of years, meaning layoff every couple of years. Just went through another round of layoff even though they just had a record breaking profit year -Politics, it's not what you know but more who you're buddy buddy with.. -Lackluster environment, office environment still stuck in 1980s, morale is at all time low due to layoff and incompetent middle management -After 4-5 years you would think their SAP transition would be completed by now but still can't get it right after spending hundreds of millions on the project. Way to re-coup that money, more cost cutting around the globe -Low wages for the worker bees but overpay on Director and VP level. Tier bonus structure means worker bees get half of what managers will get.
