Pros
The benefits are the best I've encountered thus far. The program I'm in promotes from within fairly quickly, The only delay is whether or not the positions are available. There is a dedicated mentor program where you can connect with other professionals within the company to learn new skills. The work life balance is great. The PTO is unlimited. The equipment is provided, The holidays are paid. You get all expense paid trips when you are a top performer. I recommend the company for everything but pay.
Cons
What the company provides in benefits and perks must be to offset the lack of compensation. I recently found out that they fall below the industry standard. Three years in and a one time raise of a few cents. It's frustrating when you are consistently a top performer, but struggle to make ends meet. In this economy the lack of every dollar is felt. I wanted to grow here, but I need to afford basic necessities more than I need the longevity. The sad part is I prefer the longevity. Staying is no longer equally beneficial.
