Nothing they do makes sense.

Pros

If you've never worked in the hotel industry then this is the company for you. They will definitely teach you how to NOT do things.

Cons

They preach culture but that's as far as it goes. The only training all the Vice Presidents want you to have is what the company wants to give you. No brand training conferences or to further your knowledge. They won't let you travel unless its to one of their company conferences. Excuse is, "It's not in the budget" Don't make waves or your days will be numbered REAL quick.

I am sorry to see that this has been your experience. At InnVentures we do value all of our associates and culture is at the core of who we are. We encourage our managers to attend brand conferences when necessary as well as take part in all required brand trainings virtually in addition the trainings provided by InnVentures directly. I would encourage you to discuss these experiences with your General Manager and HR team in order to better address this and achieve a positive outcome.
