Pros

Paid time off for part-time employees.

Cons

Managment need to be on the same page. Otherwise we are told to do one thing, then told to do the exact opposite and it can become very counter productive.

Pros

In all fairness, InnVentures used to be a pretty good company but the company has gone downhill dramatically over the past few years. They used to seem to care about their employees but now it is all about their fear of losing their management contracts so they don't have an ounce of loyalty to their people anymore. There are still some very good people working there but the number is fewer and fewer with each passing day.

Cons

Basically, you need to be a warm body who will do everything EXACTLY as the Regional Manager wants and be willing to talk to her at least once a day or they will fire you. They don't care if you have ideas on how to improve the hotel operations, customer service or employee relations...it must be done as the Regional dictates. I have seen them get rid of many great managers who simply didn't do things the way the Regional wanted so they were shown the door. Oh, and forget about a work/life balance. I saw many managers working 12-14 hours a day. The company is so consumed with this fear of losing their precious contracts that it overshadows their humanity and they have turned into a poor excuse of a company and I would not recommend working there to anyone.

Pros

The only thing I can think of is a free parking.

Cons

Ninety percent of the staff are people older than 55 years. They are suspicious of any new employees and view them as a threat. They are proud of using an archaic accounting program and doing things on a hundred of excel sheets instead of trying to find a better efficient way and consolidating all the work. They probably still live in the 70s and do not realize this is the 21st century. It is not cool to work 15 hours a day.
