      Pros

      - really good learning environment with ability to see very sick kids, various populations and diagnoses, etc. plus new grad supports and education for the most part very good - ability to make more money via overtime and weekend incentive programs - $3 hourly preceptor differential

      Cons

      - charge pay differential only $1 per hour - employee parking garage a full 12-15 min walk from children’s hospital building - no float pay - a chief nursing officer who is “anti-bonuses” and refuses to offer bonus/crisis pay to encourage people to pickup when staffing is bad

      Pros

      Supportive team, many educational resources for beginner nurses, makes sure you feel thoroughly prepared to become a nurse on your own, scheduling flexibility

      Cons

      It would have been nice to have the New Grad program online so those of us who commute far don't have to essentially come to work on their days off! Nurses need their days off, especially when new and taking in so much information.
