Pros

Tons of job opportunities Great for learning new skills & working with new technology

Cons

A degree or ridiculous amount of job experience is required for every position including entry level. Patient care suffers because of the technology used to communicate & conduct appointments with providers Resulting in very angry patients who are neglected. Leadership's lazy, disconnected & doesn't lead by example. Managers and supervisors request volunteers to learn new skills to fill in the gaps but will not offer any advancement in position or pay. The overall culture is very immature, unprofessional and clicky. This is not the company to work for if you're looking for stability but if you want to learn new skills and training to add to your resume this is the place to use as a stepping stone.

Good money for starters.....

Good pay Great benefits Flexible hours Good work-life balance

Cons

* Too much micromanagement * IT leadership sucks (David Pete & David Q) has no idea where they're leading INOVA as far as IT * No on-call pay * Poor helpdesk support * All management care about is making customers happy without following proper IT protocols or procedures. This could be part of the reasons why patients' info can be confiscated in the future. * No room for growth if you're looking to potentially advance on your skillsets

Pros

Benefits excluding vacation time and sick leave since it’s one unit. The title of an INOVA employee.

Cons

Exhausting. Seems like no one really cares. Constantly are abused by patients and managers turn the other cheek. Not everything should be a learning tool but instead a moment to do a check on your employees. INOVA is not willing to hire within if it means they have to train you. So take an offer for something you know you’ll be in for awhile and love. Recruiting team does not send updates. Good luck.
