      Pros

      Its a learning experience. Coming from a small hospital to this one, you learn a lot about different procedures and medications that you would not normally see in a smaller hospital setting.

      Cons

      Its a horrible environment. Never had so much drama and stress in my life until I started working here. If there is drama and you’re the new person on the block, your voice will not be heard and no one will believe anything you say. If coworkers don’t like you for any reason at all, they will find a way to make your life miserable or get you out of that hospital. Nurse hazing in every department in this hospital is alive and well.

      Okay for new grads

      Pros

      Good learning environment for new RN grads. Newer hospital buildings are pleasant to work at. Diverse work force and patient population

      Cons

      Little appreciarion to staff RNs, horrible PTO policy (days taken out if shifts being cancelled or must give up pay).
