Pros

Opportunity to serve the community and name recognition.

Cons

Managers have double standards and mistreat its employees. The engagement surveys are used as lip service for changes and improvements that never come. It's mainly used to keep unions at bay. You will find managers are mostly incompetent or are a-holes. Internal operations are old and outdated. They heavily invest in marketing and business expansion and give the bare bones to employees and operations.

Did not pay out all money owed to me when left. Management never gives initiatives time to make an impact.

Extreme Favoritism

Work/Life balance via telework and liberal work schedules (for some people only).

Cons

Extreme favoritism in IT. Unbelievably stagnant and ridiculously below average salaries. Promotions are rare and always, ALWAYS, go to the manager favorites. There is very little turnover which means it is more uncommon to have a coworker with less than 10 years than more than 10 years. This is a big brother styled, social shunning environment.
