      If I had a magic genie in a bottle.. I would have wished to be let go

      Pros

      Before the acquisition, BoomTown was the best company I've worked for in my tenure. Management was great, team worked together really well and everyone had a vision in mind for the future, one team one dream.

      Cons

      Horribly executed acquisition that lead to many immediate layoffs of good team members. Toxic (new) employees (name excluded for privAcy reasons) leading to a horrible work environment. I cry everyday.

      Remote work policy is still in place

      Cons

      I have no idea how to work with the people who acquired boomtown. No one seems to know what they are allowed to do. There is serious mismanagement in every level of this organization. Joe knows all of these problems and gives lip service but nothing changes. I don’t know one boomtown employee who is happy about the transition. People are leaving in droves.
