Archaic MD who is stuck in 1970’s when she was a classified salesperson in an underperforming team. The best of a bad bunch, she has bullied and threatened her way to the top, crushing and discrediting every good person who works for her. She is autocratic and a truly despicable boss (the words leader/director or manager do do apply here), who micromanaged everything and sucks the lifeblood out of the office which has not been decorated or cleaned since it opened in 1864. It is infested with mites, has no air con and all staff must wear a suit and tie even in 40 degree summer heat! There is no concern for health and safety, no care for employee wellbeing and no investment in people at all.

Poor place to work. Run by a tryant that is stuck in the 80's. People work in silence from 9-5:30. The type of place that as soon as 5:30 hits, its a mass exodus, because people aren't valued, therefore they turn up, collect their pay cheque and go home, no buy in to the company. Lack of vision and ability to move with the time's. Not able to challenge or query processes/procedures. Publishes articles on how Staff and certain working environments are key to success, but does the absolute opposite. Doesn't practice what it preaches. The above is proven by the huge staff turnover rate. In the accounts department a 2 year period experienced 4 Finance Directors, 3 Finance Managers, 4 Account Assistants, 2 credit controllers, in a team of 4 people.
