Pros

I have been with the company for almost 3 years now and I know I have found my home. This place is not for those weak of heart as it takes a true hard working self motivated individual to succeed here. If you put the time and effort into this company, you will be paid back 3-5x fold what you put in. I love the level of honesty in this company and complete disclosure about how we conduct business. We have a structure that allows for learning every single day from a variety of business professionals up to and including the CEO. I have not ever heard of a company that despite being so successful, still hosts a conference to celebrate new accomplishments and where a CEO knows the names of people all the way down to the ground floor of the company. For those that may say negative things, I am sorry. Unfortunately some people are not willing to put in the hard work to achieve the success. If you are an eager, success driven, motivated individual, Insight Global is where you should be!

Cons

The job does require a lot of time to be invested. Upon starting, it is asked that you put your time in to learn about the company and industry which requires a standard 50 hour work week. Compensation upon starting is not the highest, but that isn't the point. The point is to work exceptionally hard to begin a career, not a job, and the success and compensation will come along with it.

Pros

You have the opportunity to work for a company with pretty much all young people with type A personalities that are fresh out of college.

Cons

Where to start here...the cons are endless. Insight Global is set up much like a pyramid scheme. The CEOs and upper management are compensated very well, while the people at the bottom half are worked like slaves (50 hrs/wk +) and are only paid $28,000. You are expected to eat, sleep, and breathe the compnay. If you do not hang out with people from work during all of your free time, it is "frowned upon". Promotions are given out based on favoritism (i.e. a popularity contest) rather than competence and work ethic. Employees are micromanaged so heavily it seems as if there is someone breathing down your neck constantly. All in all, I would say this is a terrible place to work and I am very glad I found another job. Going back to the pro (working with all young kids fresh out of college), the reason Insight Global does this is simple; college kids are the only ones naive enough to buy into the crap that the company tries to sell people on ("you will make 100K in your second year with the comapny").
