Pros

- learn a lot about other industries/companies/jobs - working directly with clients is great experience; learn how to speak the language of directors, VP's, and C-Suite level leadership - can make some good friends - good job stability - they do not lay off sales people or recruiters - good access to trainings and professional development

Cons

- frat-like culture that turns into a very toxic work environment quickly - leadership is young, inexperienced, and stressed out, so they turn around and stress out those below them even more - salary is extremely low and you don't make good commission until you've passed a very high bracket - leadership also micromanages every little thing about those below them; they treat their subordinates like children - very difficult for many to maintain mental health and wellbeing while working here, have spoken with numerous people who have struggled with this and had to leave IG because it got so bad - horrible lack of diversity - everyone seems to come from 3 main PWI's - toxic approach to those who quit - leadership seems to immediately start bad mouthing them and people begin to turn against them, rather than being happy for them - extremely metrics-driven even when it sometimes doesn't make sense

Pros

Met some amazing friends. That’s about it.

Cons

I left Insight Global a couple of months ago and it was the BEST decision I have ever made for myself personally, professionally, and financially. Insight Global is the definition of a scheme where leaders push their employees to their breaking point with false promises of achieving success and wealth. Leaders claim to be your biggest supporters yet play obvious favorites when it comes to setting up certain people for success. This company preys on recent college graduates that are unsure of their professional path and tries to convince you that you can’t have a fun work culture or make money in any other job. This is BEYOND false. Leaders of this company need to realize that over working and astronomically underpaying your employees (seriously living under the poverty line in most cities) is the reason why turnover rates are so high. From the time I started to when I left, my office lost at least 20 Recruiters and Account Managers. Mental health struggles are not recognized by leaders at this company. Instead, your personal struggles related to mental health are frowned upon and viewed as a typical “Gen Z complaint.” Do better Insight Global and LISTEN to your employees. People are unhappy at this company and people are struggling with burnout. Don’t let yourself get caught up in the sales techniques that the TA specialists push during the interview process. Yes I met amazing people at Insight Global. But the leadership culture is BEYOND unprofessional and crosses so many boundaries. I felt like my bosses were High School mean girls. Moral of the story is you CAN make money elsewhere and you CAN have an amazing office culture elsewhere. Don’t work here.

Pros

Nothing N/A NO PRO Do not work here

Cons

Unprofessional, lack of communication, job stability, high turnover rate, dishonest. No advancement I am warning you now DO NOT ever work for this agency. I was hired on with Insight Global for a contract to hire position with another company. The way I was told my contract ended was I was locked out of the building. And when I called my recruiter to find out what was going on I was advised that she got an email late night and could not give me a notice before I drove to work, not even knowing I didnt have a job any more. The entire time I was on my contract I was not kept up to date with my progress and I always had to fight tooth and nail just to get an answer to the simplest questions. They lack communication then when you have a concern they tell you they have over 200 employees as an excuse as to why they don't communicate. I've had them not pay me on time then tell me that I have to be the one to submit my own hours. The company they had me working for is also one of the shadiest places. The turnover rate is well above 90%, after being there only 6 months I was the only employee left from my training class. I was told that they would help me find another job but I never heard anything back from them once I was let go. I don't even know how Insight Global can operate the way they do and still be a company
