Pros

There were none, not even one.

Cons

The entire experience. The forced friendships. The terrible business practices. The management (Sam Kaufman POS human). They used to pit people against each other. The drama.

Pros

Can't think of any positive attributes with this company.

Cons

This company is a textbook example of dysfunctional leadership and a toxic work environment. Management is completely unequipped to lead—directionless, inconsistent, and lacking even a basic understanding of how to support a team. Leadership behaves in a shockingly unprofessional manner, gossiping about employees behind their backs and exposing personal information to others without consent. The culture is cliquey and exclusive; if you’re not one of the favorites, you’re treated like an outcast, and you will absolutely be left to fend for yourself. Most employees have never worked anywhere else, which shows in the stale, outdated processes and the inability to implement even the most necessary improvements. Compensation is laughable ($67K as a base salary when you expect your employees to be at their desks at 7:30AM??) and PATHETIC benefits. Account managers constantly overstep boundaries, pretending to understand the hiring managers and what they are looking for—spoiler alert: they don’t have A CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING- and then the pros get the heat of every mistake and poor choice that account managers make. It is a pros fault for everything. The entire environment is toxic and invasive, where privacy doesn’t exist and everyone knows (and talks about) your business. For a recruiting company, they refuse to invest in decent recruiting software and force employees to manually track every single metric like it’s 2005. If I have any piece of advice to those considering a job with Insight Global PLEASE think twice about it. Please take all of these negative reviews to heart - REALLY LISTEN TO THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FAKE! - and reconsider accepting an offer with them. Whether you are a contractor or internal employee, you'll regret it.

Pros

Team culture can be very solid depending on your department. Management and leaders tend to be fairly understanding and kind. Enjoyed working with my team and a good place to get your foot in the door. As a result, it’s a good place to start your career and leverage into further opportunities. They will teach you a lot since they tend to hire straight out of college.

Cons

Business model (especially for corporate) is built upon taking advantage of people straight out of college or with little experience. You will be underpaid and overworked. Benefits are terrible. 401k match is $250 max a year. PTO is low to start. Culture very much feels like a fraternity. This can be a pro depending on your personality but I did not enjoy it. There are “factions” even within departments and there is a lot of drama. Company has been continuously rolling out more aggressive RTO policies even though the company has been most successful in a remote environment. Overall, the culture feels forced and fake. There are some good people here but it’s overshadowed by poor leadership at the top of the company.
