Previous reviews on this site get one thing right, there have been some amazingly talented people that have worked here and employees are given a lot of freedom to find a way to succeed.

Cons

Unfortunately most of the talent that was lured here has left, been forced out, or let go. There have been major issue on the product side from day one that seemed to never be fixed, customer churn plagued the company, and turnover was constant. Most of the original founding team and initial hires are gone, which in a startup is a major red flag.

Sorry that your time here didn't work out as you planned. We very much appreciate you commending the talent at the company. While many of the founders are not day to day (which is normal at high growth companies) they are still here every week and otherwise very involved. The product team is the strongest it has ever been completing the highest amount of release cycles and the customer growth has been phenomenal. Every company has gone through growth pains but I would invite you to come see all that has taken place recently. We are always happy to see alumna in our office

Pros

This company is great to work for. You have people around you who really care about you and care about the work they are doing. You can have a huge impact on the product and the things that are being made. The company thrives on transparency and telling the truth and being honest is encouraged. If it hasn't been that way in the past, it's that way now. The CEO loves his employees and it shows. He will really go out of the way for anyone at the company. This isn't just a positive review to combat the recent negativity on this page, it's the truth.

Cons

You will work hard and play hard -- this is just how start up life goes. If you don't want to work hard but make top money there are plenty of other companies where you can do that. Sure, there have been bumps in the road along the way, but tell me one company that doesn't have that? Insightpool is constantly reevaluating process and trying to be the best it can be. It's not always perfect and it's not always going to be perfect.
