Pros

Insightpool is exciting, challenging, collaborative and fun! The marketing team and company as a whole supports working together and celebrating each other. I have been able to take ownership of great projects and see my ideas turn into something great.

Cons

We are a tech start-up so that means that things change last minute, pace is fast and you find yourself wearing many hats. This culture is not for everyone but those that enjoy that work environment - thrive. We also have a open concept work office so if you are the type of person that needs isolation and quiet all the time, this isn't the place for you.

insightpool has four core values (be: proactive, yourself, transparent, a family) and they really live by that--it's not just a plaque on the wall. they treat their employees really well and are pretty open to new ideas. management acts as your team members, not as your bosses. the family aspect is huge as we all have each others' backs and win and lose as a team. the benefits are amazing, much what you'd expect from a san francisco start up. who can complain about free snacks and drinks, killer health insurance benefits, amazing people and an open atmosphere? we work hard, but we play hard, too.

Cons

you will work HARD and have to manage a lot of stress every day. because the startup mentality is work hard, play hard, you'll be expected to work very hard and get results. it's all about being able to effectively manage stress.

Tons of ownership in the direction of the company. Lots of transparency from upper management. Exciting industry and innovative products. Really fun work environment and cool people.

Cons

Definitely not a 9 to 5 gig. People put their hearts into the job so it's not a good fit for someone that wants to clock out at 5pm and not socialize with their co-workers.
