Pros

Fantastic healthcare benefits that will exceed what you’ve likely ever had anywhere.

Cons

Company overall vision, mission and values do not extend past annual sales convention. In a 20 year professional career, in sales no less, I’ve never seen the sheer number of turnover as I witnessed first hand with Insperity. On average the attrition rate is greater than 50% a year. I come from a background where even half of that would have been completely unacceptable. At Insperity however it’s considered the cost of doing business. Very different culture in the field compared to the corporate office.

Pros

Freedom and diversity of management style at the district office level dictates not only success but mental health. If your boss likes you, you'll do fine. If not, you'll suffer until they force you out. Lots of favoritism.

Cons

The tech is awful, it wastes your time. If you suggest changes, they tell you to stay in your lane. Even when they say they want open feedback, they really don't and will just defend their decisions. It's an old boys' club. They are super right wing, conservative. The job of a BPA should only exist for about 1/4 of the total number because they could use a more modern marketing funnel and lead nurturing system but they refuse because they adhere to old OLD SCHOOL best practices. They will trash talk you when you leave unless you leave on top and only about 20 of the top sales reps sell 80% of the book of business. It's like a MLM structure with a base salary (that part isn't so bad if you want to learn MLM on someone else's dime). I could go on but I'm just filling this out because Glassdoor required a submission.

Pros

great opportunity to make money

Cons

Corporate leads are not distributed in a transparent fashion, which leads to favoritism. Management does not realize that sales people know this practice is common in all offices around the country
