Great company but cultish

Pros

Texas based which means, they really stress the southern hospitality mindset when speaking to prospects and clients. If you’re on the west and east coast, this can bite you in the butt sometimes.

Cons

Again, Texas based so, conservative in their way of thinking. While the west coast is all about dressing in jeans and cool shirts, you’ll get “talked to” if you’re not dressed in slacks and dress shirts for the guys or for the gals, all dolled up. Typical high pressured sales environment.

Pros

Great values and executive team. Generous benefit package.

Cons

Many leaders are shady! Only out for themselves and will sell out their people to progress in the company or to "show you who's boss". Watch your back!

A downhill experience.

Pros

Good people who value the Insperity message. Great team camaraderie and a willingness to work together for the common goal if succeeding

Cons

Company does not have a sound strategy for the future. They are essentially a botique firm that fits into a very limited box of companies. They have not expanded the product line to fit the needs of cost conscious small businesses. No match in 401k for a company that preaches that it “takes care of its people” makes you do a double take. NO lead generation, TERRIBLE internal systems. Management will strip a reps commission to win a deal first before they look into any other ways to lower price. It is hands down the most expensive solution on the market and the benefits and systems have become less competitive over my tenure. The company is mostly run by service focused minds who have no clue how to treat a sales staff. Favoritisms runs rampant and the culture as a whole has become much more toxic over the last year and a half. Work life balance is terrible and so much pressure is out on team leaders by middle management that they are forced to micromanage and drive IMPOSSIBLE goals for anyone but the top, established people to hit. The residual model works if you retain customers- the problem is they Insperity is not concerned about making money and if you don’t pay attention to your customers increases that the company passes on year over year you are almost certain to not retain customers based on unreasonable price increases.
