Pros

Benefits are good. Local sales management is good. Support team is very good. Work/life balance is good. Corporate sales training is a good start.

Cons

Relational sales model in a transaction based business. Business Performance Advisors cannot truly advise their prospects as the comp plan does not pay well on anything but the premium service, and you have to discount it heavily to be competitive. Lead generation through Corporate efforts is very weak. Management wrings their hands about the sales force turnover but does not do what has been repeatedly recommended. It is less expensive for them to churn and burn, then to enact meaningful change.

Pros

Great benefits. Great colleagues. Environment is laid back and easy to work in. Low stress compared to an agency. You can wear jeans every day if you want. Work from home every Friday. Hours are great 8-5pm. Managers won't call you after hours. It's a positive environment with professional people.

Cons

Overall compensation is low. They pay recruiters salary, but there is no commission structure. No incentive besides not wanting to lose your job to work hard. Lack of training. No clear career path on moving up in the company.

Pros

Amazing benefits, fun group of people to work with, decent work-life balance. Company gives back to the community and even gives paid voluntary time off.

Cons

Management is continuing to cower to demands from board members, causing Insperity to lose the special touch we could give to customers, which historically allowed us to charge way more than our competitors. It's hard to say how we're different now... Additional con: long-term employees who do not perform highly seem to be rewarded for tenure. This is not a union.
