Pros

The ability to work remotely is convenient.

Cons

Pay is extremely low with bottom line benefits package including high deductible insurance plan premiums that are almost entirely funded by employee. Meager wage increases are sporadic and random and not necessarily provided annually. The so-called 'benefit' open enrollment time is depressing when you realize your wages do not keep up with the cost of your medical insurance that increases every year. You will need to either be in a two income household or work requested over time hours to afford anything more than your basic living expenses on an hourly position as CSR because the 40 hour work week salary is insufficient. You will often be required to do extra activities realted to background checks and other miscellaneous actions on your own time routinely with no offer or mention of overtime pay for it. This company outsources many, and possibly most, customer service positions. Manqgement and executive positions likely offer better benefits, wages, and treatment. However, if you are actively (but not desparately) searching for an entry level position and know what a good position looks like with company that doesn't exploit the bottom line worker and is willing to share the profits, do not walk away from this company. Stuffy but with signs of improvement

Pros

There has been a shift from focusing on features/outputs to business outcomes, which keeps the team empowered to meet customer needs. Overall, good work-life balance and positive colleague relationships.

Cons

Overall, there is a lot of bureaucracy and approvals - very much a top-down machine, including our agile framework. A lot of decisions we make are still based on intuition rather than data, as data isn't readily available.
