Pros

You'll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of subject matter areas so long as you're effective at networking and plugging into the word of mouth network within your first 6 months.

Cons

It can be incredibly stressful trying to find project work if you're division leadership does not help you when you're first starting. It's also easy to over-extend yourself and end up working 70 hours a week if you're not careful. Very difficult at times to find a happy medium.
