      I have really enjoyed working for OneBeacon. I think they employee a great group of people who are intelligent and down to earth.

      Pros

      Very challenging environment (in a good way) these past few years as the company fulfilled its mission to be a specilaty insurance company.

      Cons

      As the company changed its focus, jobs were effected. Numerous RIFs over the years resulting in a major loss of historical knowledge and experience.

      Top heavy and lot's of office politics. Also health benefits keep changing to the absolute lowest cost provider.
