Pros

*Benefits are comparable to other companies 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision etc.

Cons

*Management is bad. Upper management just cares about profits. Does not see or know areas are struggling. *Team projects are worst. Since everyone else has their own priorities, more then likely they don't care about helping you. *Half the people there hate their job. Mainly due to work load and stress. Visibly you can see it on their faces. Good people turned bad. The company knows this issue but abuses them because they know they aren't going to find a different job. *Personal goals as an Engineer, management does not care about it. If lucky they'll ask but won't push you in the direction your interested in.

Pros

PTO, current schedule allows for 3 to 4 days off a week for your weekend. Decent music playing for the most part.

Cons

Senior leadership has decided to move to a Pitman shift schedule essentially eliminating the benefit of a long weekend per week and this was simply decided by the powers that be without any input from the associates that I know of, people who have worked here for 10+ years are being forced to work every other weekend after having put in their time and earning the weekday schedule. This is especially bad for night shift as we now have to sacrifice our weekend nights with our families to be here, and being that it is 12 hour shifts this would mean night shift employees will Hardly ever see the light of day starting next year since under this schedule you will only get 2 days off at a time and it seems that if you are on night shift it will be unlikely to ever go to daylight as night shift is always severely understaffed and it’s already hard to staff 12 hours nights just running on the normal schedule. All of this while the Supervisors and day shift team leads will remain on their current stable schedules with no disturbance to their personal lives. Company has eliminated 401k contribution entirely and has of yet communicated any further plans to contribute to 401k in the future. This year and seems to be standard going forward the Salem site has implemented an hour by hour production sheet that requires you to constantly write your numbers you get every single hour and must be signed off by supervisor or shift lead on a constant basis causing much undue stress while trying to run and maintain production equipment. Now Salem facility has installed a pinging system that goes off literally every 15 minutes to remind you to fill out this hourly sheet, which completely ruins the benefit of good music and creates a constant annoyance all day. Favoritism runs rampant as only certain special individuals seem to benefit from working here now.

Pros

not much ....lot of vacation time

Cons

dont match 401k anymore ...going to rotating shifts everyone will now work weekends except a few chosen ones , continued layoffs every month due to covid 19....no chance for a day shift position if you are currently on night shifts....and little to no chance of any type of career development for most employees .
