Growing Company

Pros

Integra is a growing company with a solid executive team. Though it has gotten bigger over the years, it still sometimes has the feel of a smaller company. For the most part, the employees are collaborative and will work hard to deliver the best result. Given the growth profile, there is opportunity to learn a lot and increase responsibility over time.

Cons

Because Integra is growing so quickly, it is not always possible to fill positions as quickly as they become available. Employees may be required to carry extra work or wear multiple hats at times. I have always viewed it as an opportunity to gain experience and advance, but others may view this as a negative.

Pros

I spent almost 2 years with Integra as a product coordinator and I have mostly great things to say about the company. Great atmosphere, great people, everybody is very friendly and helpful. Everybody is professional and mature and it is the first job I have had where I feel like I got along with all my coworkers. They provide a lot of free food at the Austin office. You also get a chance to meet a lot of the sales reps from around the country when they come in for trainings and you can even participate in their trainings. Also the benefits are great. It was a great time with a great company and the management was great.

Cons

A couple of things and that is it. I will say this-there is very little room for advancement beyond product or billing coordinator unless you want to go into sales. The sales reps make a TON of money if they are successful, but as in any form of sales you have to have the right personality and be able to drive a lot and talk to doctors and convince them to use Integra's products over competition. There are other departments other than sales ops, such as engineering, but you obviously have to have an engineering degree or background to go into that. The 2nd thing is they did not pay me my final paycheck and I had to contact HR and they seemed to not even take blame for their mistake. It was ALMOST A WEEK after that I finally received my final paycheck and again they didn't even act like it was their mistake and they seemed annoyed by my request. Also I was told I would receive the payout for my PTO during the next pay period, which I did not and I have had to contact them AGAIN. So this process has been annoying. Other than that Integra is a great company.
