Exciting Growth Journey

Pros

The company genuinely cares about its patients and customers. The pipeline is good. There is definitely opportunity to grow if you take initiative and work hard. The company is growing and changing but is not overly political. Leadership seems to make good decisions and get along well.

Cons

There aren't as many budgetary resources as with larger companies. The offices in Plainsboro are dated, but they are moving in 2019 to a new headquarters that look really nice.

Pros

If you don't want to live or commute up to North Jersey the location is great. Some people working there are amazing and will bend over backwards to work with you, sadly these same people tend to burn out quickly. Pay is within reason, but more on the low side of the typical range for the industry. Benefits are iffy but the vacation package is decent and flexible. If you play the political game and stab people in the back you can move up very easily. Just remember: the person who tells the story first wins. That bit of knowledge will get you far.

Cons

Terrible work-life balance. While you are not 'required' to work overtime your reviews and ultimately your job status will suffer because of it (plus after a certain title level you will not be compensated for overtime). Management has extremely unrealistic timelines and demands. Management is unwilling to fix the problems at hand and instead blames the people who find issues and report it up. If you find a problem, you inherit the work load associated with it, even if that is not part of your job description (or under your department). Insanely high turnover. Product is not making it out the door because management will not authorize the time and resources to properly fix issues causing defects. Everyone wants to just bury their head in the sand instead. No communication. Overwhelming belief that people should feel privileged to work for the company.
