      Selling products and equipment in a niche market (Neuro Monitoring and Surgery) was very exciting and rewarding.

      The sales force (most Regional Business Managers and sales representatives) maintains strong, effective relationships.

      Cons

      Upper management manages but does not lead, lacks concern and appreciation of the sales force, provides poor direction to the field and makes minimal commitment to keeping technology competitive.

      Pros

      -bagels on fridays -chance to learn a lot and wear many different hats -gym onsite (small)

      Cons

      -all data stored on internal shared drive....what a mess -incompetent HR -upper management not willing to give you any answers -SOPS and protocols constantly changing for no reason -product changes across different divisions are not reported properly -compensation is a joke -high turnover rate everywhere. the company is a revolving door.

      Depending on your territory, the hours are not as brutal as a spine or ortho-trauma territory

      Cons

      VP of Sales is in over his head and is borderline confrontational with the sales team (Neuro). Sales is blamed for everything from poor product launch (all of them) to backorders and recalls. There is no interest in listening to their customers. They repackage products vs. investing in R&D but expect us to present our product like it cutting edge.
