Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear that you had a positive experience working with the day nurses and residents. However, we’re sorry to learn that other aspects of your time with us did not meet your expectations. We understand that consistency in scheduling, workplace safety, and staffing levels are critical concerns. We take feedback seriously and are always working to improve our policies and processes to better support our team. While balancing operational needs can be challenging, our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for both employees and residents. If you have any specific suggestions or would like to discuss your concerns further, we would appreciate the opportunity to listen. Please feel free to reach out to us directly. We appreciate your input and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

I truly don't know of any positives. They come across as a good, ethical company, but in reality, at least in my experience, it was far from that.

Cons

NO corporate on boarding for new employees. NO idea who internal HR was, so I had no support when major issues where going on at my community. My regional was nice, but all he cared about was the direct success of the community without fully understanding why it had been failing for so many years, and not investing in me as an employee directly. Whenever I came to my regional with my very real and serious issues, It was always back to production and not solving the problem. I INCREASED the census by almost 10% in under 2 months, and got zero recognition for my very real successes. I even got a 5 star review within the three months I was there. The ED was awful to me for no reason (at least nothing was ever communicated to me) and I feel like I was truly abused by this community. I wouldn't rate ISL so low, had anyone actually cared about what was going on in that community. It's filled with "mean girls" who act like teenagers and barely run a community. I have never been so sad to quit a job because I LOVED my role and the residents, but felt was so utterly disrespected by my ED and upper leadership who clearly didn't care about what was going on

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us! I’m glad to hear that you appreciate the overtime pay. I understand your concerns about the lack of a bonus structure and insurance coverage for family members. These are important issues, and your input will help us as we continue to evaluate our benefits. We value your perspective and will make sure to bring these points up with management as well. Thanks again!
